This work is recommended by Spurgeon, among others, and is one of those rare
gems we find when we go through the mountains of Christian literature available
today. After the Word of God itself this is one of those works that is a
ministry to your soul to read and a must for any spiritual man.
The vast majority of ‘Christian’ books are not really worth the paper they are
printed on, in that they are weak and fleshly works, but all spiritual men will
love this book, and I cannot commend it highly enough. You will not breeze
through this, it grabs your heart as you read along the lines and opens things
up to you that you had not thought of before.
